Représentations métaphoriques de l’enseignant, de l’apprenant et du savoir
Abstract
This paper analyzes a corpus made up of three hundred drawings carried out by foreign students who will become professors of French as a foreign language and students learning French. It uses the three terms of the didactic triangle to teach/learn/know in order to investigate the richness and the variety of the iconic representations as well as the definitions and explanatory comments associated them. The documents testify a diversity of human comprehension and its imaginary potential to explain abstract concepts. Part of these representations are collectively shared – though culturally subjected variations – of metaphors for space orientation which seems to be universal and omnipresent in the majority of the drawings.
